Our History

The Academy of Excellence (AOE) started in 1993 when parents and members of Faith Christian Family Church sensed the call of God to start a school to provide excellence in education, leadership and Christian character for Carroll County.

Beginning with a preschool class of just nine children, after 25 years the AOE has grown to include grades K through eighth, and is exploring adding 9th Grade by 2019-2020 school year.

Alumni from AOE consistently finish high school at the top of their class, do exceptionally well at college, and enjoy successful and productive Christian lives.

Four Foundations

Learn, Lead, Love, and Laugh are the Four AOE Foundations. Learning to lead our world with Godly character while enjoying the journey is the essence of an AOE education.

A Beka curriculum builds a strong Christian foundation with text books which meet state academic requirements, but are written specifically from a biblical world view. For more details visit: www.abekaacademy.org

The Academy of Excellence is currently an associate member of ANSAA, the most recognized accrediting body for independent schools by the State of Arkansas, and is in the process of becoming fully accredited.

Learning Culture

Our teachers and Academy leadership have a genuine, God-given, love for your student.
